Cool Croquis!
4:30–6:00 p.m. | Exhibition Space Vintti, 3rd floor
Free admission | Open to everyone
Croquis is a form of quick, sketch-like drawing from a live model. The focus is not on perfect accuracy, but on capturing the essence of a pose, movement, or gesture. During this workshop, participants will draw a live model in a series of short, static poses, exploring observation and sketching in their own individual style. The model will be fully clothed.
You can participate in your own way and at your own pace, and no prior experience is required. The workshop will be led by a Kunsthalle instructor, who will be available to offer guidance and drawing tips. Paper and drawing materials will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own supplies.
The workshop is part of Kalevan Navetta’s Independence Day pre-party, Etkot, and admission to Kunsthalle’s exhibitions is free throughout the day.
Surrounded by strong lines and patterns
The workshop takes place within J.P. Köykkä’s exhibition Forms of Heritage. Köykkä’s work draws inspiration from both the history of abstract painting and the region’s graffiti culture. His expressive forms emerge from the street yet feel at home almost anywhere.
Join us to explore sketching and enjoy a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere.
