A workshop where participants create quick sketches of a live model.

Kunsthalle Seinäjoki is hosting a croquis workshop at the Vintti exhibition space on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Croquis is a form of quick, sketch-like drawing from a live model. The point of croquis is not to achieve exact likeness, but rather the rough depiction of a pose or movement. In the workshop, participants will draw a live model in brief, static poses. The model will be fully clothed.

No prior experience is required to participate! A Kunsthalle instructor will be present to schedule the poses and assist participants if needed, but the drawing itself is self-directed. Drawing boards, paper, and drawing supplies will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own supplies. The workshop takes place in the middle of the art exhibition, and participation is free. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re experienced or a first-timer!

The workshop is part of the Seinäjoki Pride 2026 week program. In collaboration with Lakeuden sateenkaari ry. You can learn more about the full week’s program and the association’s activities on the Lakeuden sateenkaari ry website.
