Welcome to the world of film music! Cellist and singer Seeli Toivio takes the audience on an unforgettable journey through familiar melodies. The approximately one-hour concert features music from films such as *Gone with the Wind*, *Star Wars*, *The Lord of the Rings*, *Titanic*, *Interstellar*, and *Pirates of the Caribbean*. The program also includes melodies from Finnish films as well as classical music gems ranging from Bach to Merikanto.
The concert will feature both an acoustic cello over 200 years old and a modern Yamaha electric cello. The music is complemented by Toivio’s impressive vocals. This versatile musician holds a Doctor of Music degree from the Sibelius Academy and has performed extensively around the world.
